A Lectra Case Study
Zannier, a Lyon-based leader in high-end childrenswear behind licenses like Junior Gaultier and Paul Smith Kids, faces a complex market: strict safety and fit regulations, 15–16 sizes across ages 0–16, and the need to preserve luxury brand DNA while controlling costs and innovating. Meeting parents’ demands for comfort, value and age-appropriate style under tight regulatory and aesthetic constraints made rapid, accurate product development essential.
To address this, Zannier adopted Lectra’s Expert 3D/Modaris Expert 3D virtual prototyping, enabling real-time communication between designers and pattern makers, brand-specific avatars, and early visualization of design stages. The solution streamlined collaboration, cut physical prototypes, improved fit and regulatory compliance, and helped control costs—strengthening planning and accelerating design changes while preserving each label’s distinctive identity.
