Odlo Staying One Step Ahead With 3D Technology

Odlo, a technical sportswear brand founded in Norway in 1946 and now headquartered in Switzerland with products sold in 25 countries and 4,500 points of sale, wanted to target more performance‑oriented consumers while ensuring it could react quickly to fashion and weather-driven demand. To avoid stockouts and bring time‑sensitive styles to market faster, the company needed to speed up product development and reduce the time and cost of prototyping.

In partnership with Lectra, Odlo implemented Modaris 3D for patternmaking and 3D prototyping, which cut the number of physical samples and fittings, improved real‑time collaboration between teams in Switzerland, Portugal and Romania, and reduced miscommunications. The change delivered faster, cheaper prototyping, enabled bolder design iterations, and materially increased Odlo’s speed to market.
