Maggy London Engineers Better Print Placement With Lectra Technology

Maggy London, a New York–based womenswear brand known for engineered-print dresses that produces five seasons of nine lines annually, confronted the limits of manual marker placement. Hand-layouts were slow, imprecise and made it difficult to accurately estimate material usage and protect margins as the company sought to scale and serve private-label clients with tight cost and time-to-market requirements.

Building on a 20‑year partnership with Lectra, Maggy London implemented Lectra’s Kaledo and Diamino solutions to import fabric images, place prints directly on digital markers, and collaborate earlier between design and marker making. The result is faster, more accurate yield estimates, reduced fabric waste, clearer tech packs for vendors, and quicker, better decisions across product development and production—supporting the company’s growth and margin control.
