Imperial is an Italian fast-fashion brand founded in 1978 that supplies menswear and womenswear to 4,000 customers through 80 single-brand stores and a global distributor network, producing 35,000 pieces of each style weekly. Its primary challenge was shortening time to market and reducing internal complexity to keep pace with aggressive growth targets and the rapid product cycles of fast fashion.
To address this, Imperial implemented Lectra Fashion PLM after a joint process analysis and staff training phase, creating a single web-based platform that connects design, technical, and production teams. The result: streamlined data management and real-time visibility across departments, fewer errors and low-value tasks, faster decision-making, and a reduced design-to-sale cycle of just seven days — with plans to extend PLM use across the group and to key suppliers.
