Baroque Japan Limited Connecting the Dots with Lectra Fashion PLM

Baroque Japan Limited is a fast-growing specialty apparel retailer with 18 brands (including MOUSSY) and hundreds of stores in Japan and abroad, reporting ¥69.4bn ($636.8m) in sales for the year ending January 2017. Rapid expansion exposed fragmented IT systems and unstandardized processes across head office, suppliers and overseas production sites, making real-time information sharing difficult and spreadsheets unmanageable.

After evaluating more than 10 PLM vendors, Baroque implemented Lectra Fashion PLM to centralize product data and standardize workflows. The platform automated order transfers to ERP, improved visibility for troubleshooting and workload balancing, and eliminated redundant tasks—driving a 10% rise in overall efficiency and shaving about one month off time-to-market (MOUSSY from six to five months), while enabling plans to roll the PLM out to all 18 brands.
