UCHealth, a 12-hospital academic health system, needed a scalable way to improve operating room utilization as patient volume continued to grow. LeanTaaS deployed iQueue for Operating Rooms, including the Exchange and Analyze modules, across UCHealth’s metro Denver ORs to enable data-driven block management and easier release/request of OR time. The solution led to a 47% median increase in blocks released per month, a 4% increase in OR utilization, and 10% earlier block releases, translating to an estimated $400,000 in additional revenue per OR per year.
