Penn Medicine Increased Infusion Patient Volumes by 25%

Penn Medicine’s Abramson Cancer Center Infusion Suite, which manages over 50,000 infusion visits annually, was struggling with long patient wait times, uneven patient arrivals, and nurses feeling rushed and unable to complete documentation and education. To address these operational challenges, Penn Medicine partnered with LeanTaaS and implemented its iQueue for Infusion Centers solution.

LeanTaaS first piloted iQueue on a 21‑chair fourth‑floor unit to optimize scheduling templates, provide daily management guidance, and diagnose why days went off plan; after strong results the program was expanded to manage 181 chairs across multiple floors.
