OrthoNebraska, a physician-owned orthopedic health system with 70+ providers and 12 ORs across Nebraska and Iowa, experienced rapid growth—over 11,000 cases in 2022—but still struggled to fully utilize OR capacity. Despite converting recovery rooms into multipurpose procedure spaces, block assignments and surgeon utilization remained static and data was outdated and manual, making it hard to find available OR time. LeanTaaS implemented iQueue in September 2022 to provide on‑demand, transparent scheduling data and a self‑serve “open table” for surgeons to request or release OR time.
