How Sendle Made Onboarding Equitable Across The Globe

Sendle, a 100% carbon-neutral shipping company operating across four countries, needed a better way to unify people processes and improve consistency in a remote-first environment. As the company scaled, its HR team faced onboarding gaps for high-volume roles, uneven manager feedback, and a lack of centralized visibility into employee benefits and compensation. Sendle turned to Lattice HRIS and related Lattice tools to help create a more equitable employee experience.

With Lattice, Sendle introduced hybrid onboarding for volume hires, used onboarding surveys and automated reviews to improve early retention, and enabled managers with structured 1:1s and feedback workflows. Lattice also became Sendle’s single source of truth for benefits, ESOP grants, and custom country-specific fields. The results were strong: manager feedback scores rose from below 40 to over 90, and 89% of employees said they could do the best work of their careers.
