How Lattice Is Powering Employee Engagement at OppFi

OppFi, a Chicago-based fintech that helps banks extend credit to underserved consumers, faced rapid growth, a newly dispersed remote workforce, and no formal performance review or employee engagement system. To create consistency around performance, goal-setting, and listening to employee sentiment, OppFi chose Lattice and its performance management and engagement tools.

Lattice implemented performance reviews, pulse engagement surveys three times a year, feedback and one-on-one tools, and OKRs to increase visibility and alignment. Adoption climbed quickly: Lattice captured 769 pieces of feedback from 185 employees with 163% more feedback in 2020 vs. the prior year (August 2021 was the busiest month), and OppFi launched action planning and company-wide goal tracking to turn feedback into measurable change. Lattice now helps OppFi document goals and accomplishments year-over-year, improve manager accountability, and boost employee engagement and performance.
