How Braze Implemented Lattice Performance Management

Braze, a fast-growing marketing automation company with offices in New York, San Francisco, London and Singapore, faced a retention and development challenge: employees wanted more continuous feedback and career development than the company’s annual, email-based review process provided. To address this, Braze implemented Lattice’s performance management platform (Platform with Premium Support) to build a scalable, continuous performance framework.

Using Lattice, Braze introduced two review cycles (a fall retrospective and a spring career-development cycle), quarterly OKRs, monthly career check-ins, and regular 1:1s, and adopted Lattice’s goals, feedback and 1:1 tools with Slack integration and CSM-led training. The result was easier administration of review cycles, searchable historical records, org-wide dashboards that let HR slice data by location, level and department, and more frequent, regular feedback and 1:1s—helping Braze scale performance management and support employee growth with Lattice.
