A Lattice Case Study
TopSpot, a Houston-based integrated search marketing agency of about 150 people, faced a common people challenge: employees didn’t understand internal career paths or job competencies, and existing growth plans weren’t connected to everyday manager-employee conversations. To solve this, TopSpot partnered with Lattice and adopted Lattice Grow (alongside Lattice’s 1:1s tool and platform support) to build scalable competency models and clearer career pathways.
Using Lattice, TopSpot worked with managers to map competencies and launch seven career tracks in Lattice Grow, integrating growth plans into weekly 1:1s. The result: a measurable rollout of seven tracks, a significant uptick in ongoing career-development conversations, markedly improved performance review feedback and ratings, and a stronger talent-differentiation in hiring — outcomes TopSpot attributes directly to Lattice.
