Rotary Corp's Responsive Website Offers a Consumer Experience to Business Customers

Rotary Corporation, the world’s largest supplier of outdoor power equipment parts with over 9,500 SKUs, needed to modernize an aging B2B website that sold exclusively through dealers. The old site—integrated with Lawson ERP—had rigid layouts, poor search and product data, non-indexable dynamic URLs (no SEO), no reporting, and no content management, leaving marketing unable to update pages or measure campaign impact.

LANSA Professional Services upgraded Rotary to a responsive site using LANSA Commerce Edition and LANSA Integrator, migrated rich product data from a FoxPro silo into the ERP platform, and implemented a CMS, faceted product search, dealer ecommerce features (order import, tracking, invoices, ePayments) and Google Analytics. The result: a mobile-first, SEO-friendly site that increased brand awareness, became the primary product information source for dealers and consumers, gave marketing control of content, and made it easier for dealers to research, order and sell Rotary products.
