Excellence with AHC, in the office and at point-of-care

American Health Care Software (AHC) is the longtime provider of Harmony, an IBM i–based care management system used by senior and long‑term care facilities such as River Garden Senior Services. Facing character‑based screens, growing clinical needs and increasing third‑party integration and regulatory requirements, AHC needed to modernize Harmony without a risky full rewrite or disrupting existing customers.

AHC used Visual LANSA (with the Framework option) and LANSA Composer to progressively redevelop Harmony, adding Windows/touchscreen point‑of‑care clients, a new clinical EHR with eMAR and tight MS Office and third‑party integrations. The result: real‑time medication monitoring and easier documentation at the bedside, wider platform support, strong customer adoption (150+ users at River Garden), improved care processes and continued regulatory excellence.
