Computer Merchants, an Australian provider of data center solutions, needed to give customers transparent mobile access to data held across two critical systems: its ERP and a specialised infrastructure-monitoring system. The existing monitoring web interface was dated and couldn’t efficiently scale to include ERP data, and the company wanted a usable, value-adding mobile experience to improve customer engagement and grow managed services.
Using LANSA’s low-code platform, Computer Merchants launched the CM Live mobile app in four weeks and then built a flexible mobile web portal in two stages—CM View (25 days) for real-time consolidated monitoring and alerts, and CM Care (13 days) for contracts, assets and renewal forecasting. The solutions delivered fast, secure transparency and a better customer experience, driving increased managed-service uptake as clients added SLAs and transforming systems of record into systems of engagement.
