A LANSA Case Study

Christus Health Improves Contract Management

CHRISTUS Health, a top-ten U.S. Catholic health system with nearly 350 facilities, launched the Unity Project to standardize clinical, business and financial processes across its regions. Managing hundreds to thousands of diverse contracts across hospitals exposed gaps in visibility, auditability and consistency, creating a need for a corporate contract-management system that reduced reliance on individual staff and supported collaboration.

CHRISTUS implemented Rippe & Kingston’s e.ssential™ Contract Guardian (built with LANSA), first as a SaaS pilot and then in-house, to centralize contracts with journaling, advanced search, bookmarks, calendar to-dos, secure auditing and easy reassignment. The solution delivered faster contract retrieval, stronger accountability and compliance, prevention of unwanted auto-renewals, consolidated purchasing insight and measurable time savings, and has been rolled out to multiple regions with Legal and Risk Management preparing to adopt it system-wide.
