Body Corporate Services (BCS) is a market-leading Australian strata management firm with 350 staff across 20+ branches managing thousands of residential, commercial and mixed‑use properties. Confronted with high-volume billing and banking (hundreds of thousands of invoices and thousands of daily transactions), a failed off‑the‑shelf system and the need for secure, integrated web portals and third‑party connections, BCS needed a reliable, extensible property‑management platform that could deliver transparency and rapid change.

BCS developed a custom LANSA-based Property Management System integrated with WebSphere portals and LANSA Integrator to connect banks, the ATO, mailhouses, document management and Windows reporting tools. Launched within six months and maintained by a small in‑house team, the solution delivered stability, security and fast development turnaround, automated thousands of daily transactions, improved client visibility through online portals, and positioned BCS for SOA, SaaS and international expansion.
