PRO14 Rugby partnered with The Lane Agency to plan and manage a paid media campaign for the Guinness Pro14 Final at Glasgow’s Celtic Park. The challenge was to build awareness and drive ticket sales for the first rugby match ever held at the venue, using a mix of media across the marketing funnel.
The Lane Agency delivered a comprehensive paid media strategy spanning radio, out of home, press, programmatic display, Spotify, Facebook, Instagram, and a partnership with The Herald Scotland, then used retargeting and post-purchase messaging to push conversions and encourage social sharing. The campaign helped PRO14 Rugby achieve a record crowd of 47,128 fans at the final, delivering a measurable and highly successful result.
