The Los Angeles Dodgers needed a fresh way to generate buzz for the upcoming season and connect with the diverse communities that make up Los Angeles County. Working with Lamar Advertising Company, they used out-of-home advertising to reach niche markets and remind fans why they love their hometown team.

Lamar Advertising Company helped the Dodgers launch the “This is My Town” campaign, featuring current and former players in phase one and celebrities in phase two across billboards, bus backs, wallscapes, and phone kiosks in the Los Angeles market. The effort generated more than 200 million impressions, helped the Dodgers lead MLB in attendance with over 3.8 million fans in 2009, and kept them on top of attendance for a second straight year in 2010.
