Absolut Miami needed to reach its “Neo-Yuppie” target audience—socially active, trend-conscious 21–35 year olds—in a crowded market with a launch that captured the city’s unique energy. Lamar Advertising Company helped support the campaign using out-of-home (OOH) media to build awareness and excitement for ABSOLUT Miami, the limited edition flavored vodka.

Lamar Advertising Company deployed a citywide OOH plan across Miami, including wrapped buses, taxi tops, illuminated kiosks, bus shelters, bench displays, MetroMover cars, and first-to-market 3D bus shelter build-outs, all driven by eye-level QR codes linking to the campaign site. The OOH effort accounted for 60% of the media budget and helped drive significant search lift for “ABSOLUT Miami” from the start of the campaign, with the biggest spike during the first week of OOH activity and most searches coming from Florida.
