How Lenovo lightens its employee workloads and boosts productivity

Lenovo, a global technology company, needed to lighten heavy manual workloads in its IT Command Center and other business teams. Its staff managed more than 40,000 workers and 60,000 accounts across 100+ downstream systems, but some account changes and order-processing tasks still required email-based manual handling. Lenovo used Laiye’s intelligent automation platform, including RPA products such as Automation Worker and HR Account Management, to address these challenges.

Laiye implemented unattended RPA bots to automate account transfers, rehire code handling, AD account checks, SLA reporting, daily order documentation, sales reports, return requests, and invoice uploads. The results included 200+ scenarios created, 83% of requests handled automatically, and 100% detection accuracy, while also saving major labor time in sales operations such as 26.25 man-days per year for daily reports, 63 man-days per year for return request processing, and 22.5 man-days per year for invoice uploading.
