How to use Marketo data to build a dashboard your team can monitor

Klipfolio worked with Marketo data to solve a common marketing problem: extracting and sharing timely lead-gen metrics. The team needed a simple way to report on an email-course campaign—subscribers, trial starts and conversions—without manual digging in Marketo or asking executives to log in, and wanted visuals that clearly showed their impact on MRR.

The solution used Marketo smart campaigns to push subscribers, trial starts and wins into static lists, then connected Marketo to Klipfolio via LaunchPoint and the REST API (client ID/secret, REST endpoints and static-list IDs). In Klipfolio they built tables and formulas (COUNT, AVERAGE, SUM, percentage formatting) to report subscribers, trial-start %, win %, average trial score and MRR. The result was a shareable, automated dashboard that made monitoring and reporting simple, scalable and actionable—growing to cover multiple courses over eight months.
