The Brand Outlet, an online retailer offering big brands at deep discounts, wanted a faster, more direct way to reach customers and streamline marketing across channels. Their challenge was to add SMS to their existing email program quickly, capture phone numbers and consent, and manage messaging and analytics without juggling multiple platforms.
Using Klaviyo, The Brand Outlet set up SMS in about 57 minutes, added an embedded footer form and a Cyber Weekend popup to capture thousands of phone numbers in two weeks, and launched a personalized Cyber Weekend flow plus SMS in key automated journeys (welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment). The multi-channel approach drove thousands of dollars in incremental sales in a single weekend, delivered high and improving click rates, and simplified campaign management by combining email, SMS, and analytics in one platform.
