Living Proof is a Boston-based science-driven haircare brand focused on growing its direct-to-consumer business. As the team scaled, their previous email platform proved limiting — poor deliverability, mass blasts instead of personalized automation, and no dedicated support — so they needed a solution that would enable segmentation, better deliverability, and seamless integration with their Salesforce Commerce Cloud site.
After switching to Klaviyo and integrating quickly with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Living Proof launched targeted flows (including an abandoned cart to complement an abandoned checkout flow), a welcome series, and a product-matching quiz to drive segmentation and personalization. The changes delivered major gains: Q3 owned email revenue rose 514% YOY, successful email deliveries increased 432% YOY, revenue per recipient from the new flows rose 21%, the email list grew 29% in under two quarters, and Cyber Weekend revenue improved 8.5% versus 2018.
