How Flora & Fauna’s flexible payments and a good deal made shoppers come back for more

Flora & Fauna, an ethical retailer stocking over 10,000 vegan and cruelty‑free products across 340 brands, wanted to offer more flexible payment options and engage new audiences. They partnered with Klarna to add Klarna as a checkout payment method, enabling shoppers to split purchases into four interest‑free payments to help lift average order value and transaction volumes.

Klarna integrated pay‑in‑4 at checkout and ran co‑marketing activities (co‑branded EDMs, Instagram posts, merchant spotlights, curated app collections and performance marketing) to drive traffic to Flora & Fauna. The campaign saw strong adoption — Julie Mathers reported over 20% of transactions used Klarna — with 65% of orders from new customers and 56 shoppers making at least one additional purchase during the offer period, increasing repeat business, order volume and brand awareness for Flora & Fauna.
