Criteo, a leading global commerce-media and digital advertising platform, needed better access to in-app shopping audiences and the ability to reach consumers with purchase-ready messaging and flexible payment options. To meet that need, Criteo sought programmatic access to Klarna’s native in-app advertising inventory (Klarna) so advertisers could engage shoppers during the purchase journey with Klarna-enabled experiences.

Klarna connected its in-app inventory to Criteo’s commerce media network, making that inventory available to Criteo’s turnkey demand from 19,000+ Commerce Growth clients as well as programmatic buyers. The integration drove strong outcomes: Criteo demand clients saw 3x higher conversion rates on Klarna vs. other apps, a 2x higher CTR (vs. a 0.95% industry average), and an 81% bid rate — 22% above average — yielding more competitive ROAS.
