Ford Motor Company worked with Kitewheel to improve digital engagement and connect its in-store dealership visits with online customer journeys. The challenge was to build a “digital hook” after New Year’s dealership events and use connected data across paid media, web, and email to better guide prospects through the path to purchase.
Using Kitewheel’s Customer Journey Hub, Ford connected offline and online data into a single real-time customer profile and used unified decisioning to deliver personalized, sequenced messages across display, search, Facebook, web, and email. The results were strong: click-through rates increased 24x, web visits became 4x longer with 4x more page views per visitor, and email performance surged with 16x higher open rates and 48x uplift across email.
