A Kirona Case Study
VIVID, Hampshire’s largest provider of affordable homes managing 30,000 properties, faced the challenge of scaling and optimising responsive maintenance across a 250-strong field workforce while centralising housing systems after a merger. To gain a holistic, flexible workforce management capability and better control over travel, prioritisation and appointments, VIVID worked with Kirona and deployed its Dynamic Resource Scheduler (DRS) alongside the InfoSuite management information system.
Kirona’s DRS and InfoSuite gave operatives mobile schedule visibility, SMS appointment control and real‑time performance insights, enabling smarter routing and prioritisation. As a result, VIVID increased operational productivity by 15% to 77%, raised jobs per operative to 5.6/day (from 4.6), halved voids and responsive repair turnaround to 9 days, cut missed appointments and delivered around £8m in annual savings — demonstrating measurable service and efficiency gains from Kirona’s solution.
