Ocean Housing Group Selects Kirona to Deliver Dynamic Resource Scheduling across its Repairs and Maintenance Service

Ocean Housing Group, a Cornwall-based housing provider managing over 4,500 properties, faced inconsistent IT and operational performance across its three companies and needed a group-wide overhaul to improve repairs and maintenance efficiency and tenant service. As part of a two-year service transformation and in response to budget pressures, Ocean Housing Group selected Kirona to deliver a dynamic resource scheduling solution to better allocate operatives and streamline workflows.

Kirona implemented its Dynamic Resource Scheduler (DRS) and Cyclical Servicing Module to match the right operative to each job, automate annual service reminders, and improve forward planning across a team of 60 operatives handling more than 12,000 responsive and emergency repairs. The Kirona solution reduced downtime, enabled smarter and more flexible working, and promised productivity gains of up to 25%, with Ocean reporting improved customer care and a successful implementation.
