East Riding of Yorkshire Council mobilises reactive & responsive repairs team with Kirona’s Dynamic Resource Scheduling software

East Riding of Yorkshire Council needed to improve visibility and efficiency across its mobile response, maintenance and repairs team covering about 11,600 properties over 930 square miles. Under pressure to use public funds wisely and to maintain strong resident relationships, the Council upgraded to Kirona’s Dynamic Resource Scheduler (DRS) 5.6 to manage both pre-planned and responsive jobs through a single view of all work.

Kirona implemented DRS alongside the DRS Analytics module and SMS appointment reminders, enabling better prioritisation, reduced travel time, more appointments per day and fewer missed visits. Kirona’s solution delivered significant time and cost savings for the Council and improved resident communications; East Riding now plans further rollout of Kirona tools such as the DRS Project Planner and a Kirona Health Check.
