A Kirona Case Study
Curo Group faced a labour‑intensive, error‑prone scheduling process where planners used Microsoft Outlook and spreadsheets to allocate jobs for over 75 responsive repairs and gas operatives. To solve this, Curo Group implemented Kirona’s DRS dynamic scheduling software and InfoSuite reporting suite (delivered via prime contractor Aareon) to replace manual allocation and integrate with their Aareon systems and 1st Touch mobile solution.
Kirona’s DRS Scheduler and InfoSuite went live on 31 March 2014, optimising appointment allocation, dynamically reassigning work when operatives run late, and integrating with existing back‑office and mobile systems. The result was reduced planner workload, fewer missed appointments and much greater real‑time workforce visibility — with InfoSuite dashboards on office screens showing live metrics (no‑access visits, appointments completed, jobs needing materials) for the 75+ operatives.
