Clearwater implements Kirona’s Job Manager to increase its earnings per operative

Clearwater (Clearwater Group PLC), which manages 300 field engineers across 10 regional offices delivering water hygiene, pump and compliance services, was overwhelmed by paper-based processes—about 11,000 jobs a month producing 30,000 written reports on 50,000 sheets of paper—causing re-keying, lost paperwork and slow reporting. To address this inefficiency and improve auditability, Clearwater selected Kirona’s Job Manager mobile application and Samsung Galaxy Tab S tablets to integrate field workflows with its Causeway office system.

Kirona implemented Job Manager on rugged tablets so engineers download jobs, capture electronic forms on-site and the scheduler can accommodate overruns, removing unnecessary travel and admin. The rollout delivered real-time visibility and a 10–15% increase in productivity and earnings per field worker; Clearwater plans to expand Job Manager to another 180 field staff and add features such as electronic timesheets.
