Case Study: Ottawa Community Housing Corporation achieves improved maintenance productivity and higher tenant satisfaction with Kirona

A Kirona Case Study

Preview of the Ottawa Community Housing Corporation Case Study

Cheshire Based Kirona Selected as Canadian Housing Provider’s Field Service Management Solution Provider

Ottawa Community Housing Corporation (OCHC), the fourth-largest social housing provider in Canada managing $2.7 billion in assets across 15,000 homes and more than 32,000 tenants, needed to modernize its repairs and maintenance operations to boost productivity and tenant satisfaction and to replace legacy systems. OCHC selected Kirona to provide field service management technology, specifying Kirona’s Dynamic Resource Scheduler (DRS) and the Job Manager mobile workforce application.

Kirona is rolling out 130 DRS and Job Manager licenses to cover OCHC’s entire repairs team, integrated with OCHC’s existing housing management systems to enable real-time scheduling, tracking and dynamic allocation of resources; Kirona’s InfoSuite analytics is planned for a second-phase rollout. The solution is expected to improve responsiveness, accountability and operational efficiency across OCHC’s portfolio, building on prior service improvements for the corporation’s 32,000 residents, with licenses due to be live by March 2019.
