A Kirona Case Study
BrightHouse, the UK's leading rent-to-own retailer, needed to improve productivity and efficiency for its mobile engineering team after launching its BrightCare repairs service. Faults were logged and manually allocated, customers could only be offered whole-day appointments, and engineers could not plan routes or ensure they had the right parts. To address this, BrightHouse engaged Kirona and selected Kirona's Dynamic Resource Scheduler (DRS) and Job Manager mobility platform.
Kirona implemented DRS, Job Manager and its InfoSuite analytics to provide three appointment slots, automated, route-optimised engineer assignment, mobile access to fault and item details, and parts information. The solution gave BrightHouse greater appointment accuracy, better-prepared engineers, shorter repair times and reduced repeat fixes, while Kirona’s analytics enabled tracking of engineer performance and appliance fault trends to drive ongoing improvements.
