Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado’s leader in cancer care, needed a better way to communicate with patients amid high phone volumes, staffing constraints, and the frustration of phone tag. Their scheduling team was spending hours each week trying to reach patients for return visits and new patient calls, often requiring multiple attempts to connect.
Kipsu helped Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers implement HIPAA-compliant two-way SMS texting for scheduling and patient outreach, with no app or portal required. The pilot reduced time to resolution from 11 days to 11 minutes and enabled communication with over 2,300 patients in five months. Based on these results, RMCC expanded Kipsu beyond the Lakewood location to the rest of its Northern Colorado division and is actively rolling it out to additional divisions.
