How Khoros Strategic Services developed an Employee Advocacy Program for National Instruments

National Instruments (NI) engaged Khoros to help drive awareness ahead of a June 2020 brand refresh by activating an untapped group of advocates: its employees. NI’s challenge was to streamline channel and content strategy and build a comprehensive employee advocacy program, and Khoros Strategic Services worked with NI using the EveryoneSocial employee advocacy platform to address this need.

Khoros Strategic Services created an Employee Advocacy playbook and toolkit, ran EveryoneSocial trainings, and implemented a unique label strategy to surface content for employees. The program drove exponential employee engagement and measurable impact: a 33% increase in Instagram followers within two weeks, 9.4K engagements on organic brand launch content, and 1.1K uses of new hashtags (#EngineerAmbitiously and #LifeatNI), which added 76 new followers of the brand hashtag on LinkedIn.
