How Khoros Helped Autodesk Increase Engagement with Answer Days

Autodesk, a global leader in design and make software (including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit), wanted to increase peer-to-peer engagement, verified answers, and superuser participation in its long-running community. Using the Khoros community platform, Autodesk reintroduced a scaled Answer Days program to drive monthly active users, improve customer workflows, and encourage customers to find and trust answers in the community.

Khoros helped Autodesk design and run a coordinated 20-hour Answer Day involving 100+ employees across support, product, development, and marketing, with training, developer-customer spaces, and internal gamification to boost participation. The event drove 166,000 visits during the Answer Day period and delivered a 313% increase in questions asked and a 443% increase in questions answered; Autodesk now plans quarterly Answer Days and sees more verified peer-to-peer answers and improved search/SEO as a direct result of Khoros’s platform and support.
