John Lewis Brand Toolkit is an intranet site for the John Lewis department store chain that needed a better way to present and manage its brand guideline PDFs. The team struggled with PDF management, wanted an easy-to-navigate, editable CMS and needed the flexibility for each page heading to have a different background colour without creating multiple page templates.

Pull Digital implemented Kentico CMS, using a repeater web part to organise and display PDFs and a master-page macro tied to a data-driven list of background colours so editors could control page headers without extra templates. The result was overwhelmingly positive feedback: PDFs are now simple to add, update and remove, the client easily maintains the site themselves, and the solution delivered fast development, strong document management and secure, user-friendly editing.
