Sporthaus Schuster is a Munich-based, family-run sporting goods retailer (est. 1913) whose online shop carries 70,000 items from 400+ brands and generates monthly seven-figure sales. To keep growing via Google Shopping it needed a better bidding strategy and more efficient monthly SEA budget management to maintain a high return on advertising spend (ROAS).
Working with agency norisk and Kenshoo’s Portfolio Optimizer, the team implemented automated portfolio bidding, product feed and shopping campaign optimization, restrictive down-bidding, mobile bid modifiers and fast campaign mirroring to Bing. The result: sales up 240% year‑on‑year, a 44% lift in conversion rate, nearly twice the visitors from Google Shopping, a 90% ROAS and a 36% reduction in cost per order.
