Sears Holdings ran a Facebook retargeting campaign with a goal of achieving at least a 3.5 ROAS—on par with standard retargeting performance. The challenge was to improve ad efficiency and lift revenue from existing traffic while managing timing, frequency and creative relevance.
Using Kenshoo, the team integrated search and PLA data to prioritize high-performing products and keywords for FBX, inform creative messaging, and surface cross-sell/up-sell opportunities. Kenshoo’s hourly/daily widget reports enabled day-parting and product-by-time targeting, while impression tracking identified optimal exposure frequency, applied caps, and allowed more aggressive bids within that range. The campaign delivered a 9.2 ROAS, outperforming the 3.5 target by 380%.
