Proteq Dier & Zorg, a Dutch pet insurance provider, partnered with Pervorm to improve search efficiency and insure more pets. The brief was to increase monthly conversions by 10% with a maximum CPA of €50 while driving the CPA down as much as possible.
Pervorm used a data-driven optimization approach: isolating top-performing keywords into uncapped-budget campaigns, separating match types and excluding overlaps, enabling Kenshoo’s Bid-to-CPA policy, and targeting question-based queries with cross-channel retargeting. From March to November this reduced CPC by 33%, increased conversions by 32% and cut CPA by 53%.
