Razors4U is a UK e‑commerce startup selling razor blades and subscription shaving products across the UK and Europe. With low brand awareness, the company faced the challenge of educating shoppers and improving underperforming paid search metrics: an initial 3% conversion rate and a high £12 cost per acquisition, prompting targets to raise conversions by at least 50%, cut CPA to £8 and grow the customer base.
Working with agency Lab and the Kenshoo Infinity Suite, Razors4U used psychological modelling, tailored ad copy and sophisticated bid automation, attribution and remarketing to optimise search spend. Within five months conversion rates rose to 8% (a 267% increase), CPA fell to £6 (50% down) and the customer base grew 300% with subscription orders more than doubling; after a year conversions were ~9% and CPA under £4, enabling expanded budgets, new markets and a scalable growth platform.
