DexYP Takes a Leap of Faith with Platform Migration to Kenshoo Local Search

DexYP, a leader in local search serving more than 500,000 SMBs, faced the challenge of migrating roughly 4,000 accounts off a legacy platform that lacked advanced keyword optimization and bidding capabilities. The company needed to improve client performance, protect margins, and minimize churn while moving clients to a new system.

DexYP migrated to Kenshoo Local Search over six months, supported by Kenshoo’s onboarding, TAM, and onsite Client Success teams and training for nearly 100 Performance Strategists. The switch delivered strong results: Google CPC down 13.5% and CPL down 22%, Bing CPC down 28.3% and CPL down 35%, less than 4% client churn (vs. a projected 15%), 8.9% overall account growth year-over-year, and an 18-basis-point increase in agency margin; the effort also earned an Infinity Award in 2018.
