Zocalo Group partnered with Cricket to run a social advertising program aimed at acquiring new customers and increasing sales on MyCricket.com. The challenge was to design a targeted, scalable Facebook campaign that would drive online conversions and better connect online and offline audiences.
Over a 14-week test-and-learn campaign Zocalo promoted two offers (Phone Payment Plan and Samsung Galaxy Discover), used Custom Audiences and Lookalikes, and iterated on copy, creative, and audience segments. Results: conversion rate grew 1,064% while cost per conversion fell 53%; overall revenue rose 286% and revenue per conversion increased 195%. The Phone Payment Plan delivered a 4.87% conversion rate with 1,425 signups, and 45% of users who added the Galaxy Discover to cart via the ad completed the purchase.
