Case Study: Unigo unifies Azure web apps into a single URL in under a week with KEMP Technologies' VLM for Azure

A KEMP Technologies Case Study

Preview of the Unigo Case Study

Kemp Unifies the Delivery of Unigo’s Azure Web Apps Without Complex, Code-Level Integration

Unigo, a leading college-student network with over 1.6 million members, needed to integrate a newly acquired company’s Azure-based web application into unigo.com without performing a time-consuming codebase merge. To avoid complex, code-level integration and preserve independent development, Unigo turned to KEMP Technologies and its Virtual LoadMaster (VLM) for Azure.

KEMP Technologies deployed VLM for Azure’s layer‑7 content switching to present two independently developed web apps under a single URL, enabling Unigo to go live in under a week and to implement or roll back changes in minutes. The solution unified the user experience on unigo.com, preserved independent app lifecycles, and improved SEO by consolidating traffic on the primary domain.
