Redplaid, a division of Connectria that provides secure, reliable managed hosting for SMBs, needed an affordable, easy-to-manage load balancing solution to deliver high availability, security and scalability for customer websites. To meet those needs Redplaid selected KEMP Technologies and standardized on KEMP’s LoadMaster appliances (2000, 2500 and 3500) as its SMB-focused application delivery and server load balancer platform.

KEMP Technologies’ LoadMaster line delivered L4–L7 load balancing, content switching, SSL offload/acceleration and high-availability, enabling Redplaid to improve site performance, uptime and security while keeping costs low. The solution drove measurable results: nearly 30% of Redplaid customers use KEMP’s SSL acceleration, Redplaid doubled its business in the last year and expects to double again, and the company can support customers without large IT staffs or expensive infrastructure.
