Case Study: Ceramic Products Business achieves high availability and hybrid-cloud performance with KEMP Technologies

A KEMP Technologies Case Study

Preview of the Ceramic Products Business Case Study

Kemp provides High Availability for multisite Hybrid Cloud Deployment

Ceramic Products Business, a family‑run global ceramics company with several thousand employees, migrated part of its IT to Microsoft Azure while retaining on‑prem VMware sites and needed high availability and geo‑aware traffic routing across multiple data centres. To address this, the customer chose KEMP Technologies and its geo DNS load balancers, deploying KEMP VLM‑200 instances (Azure and on‑prem) and the KEMP Edge Security Pack.

KEMP Technologies implemented virtual VLM‑200 LoadMasters in Azure and highly available VLM‑200 clusters in the on‑prem DMZ and LAN to provide geo load balancing, real‑time client location detection, automated fail‑over/fail‑back, and ESP reverse proxying. The solution delivered seamless routing to the closest data centre, improved availability, performance and security, reduced manual intervention and outage risk, and created a flexible, cost‑efficient hybrid environment with better end‑user experience.
