A KEMP Technologies Case Study

Hyundai UK selects Kemp for its expertise in load balancing Microsoft Exchange

Hyundai engaged KEMP Technologies to support its migration to Microsoft Exchange 2010, needing a hardware load balancer to ensure uninterrupted email for about 200 users across three UK sites and a remote field team. The company selected the Kemp LoadMaster 2200 (Microsoft Certified for Exchange 2010) to meet performance and availability requirements for the new VMware-based Exchange environment.

KEMP Technologies supplied and helped configure the LoadMaster 2200, delivering Layer 7 load balancing, built‑in SSL acceleration and health checks; the appliance was deployed over a weekend with no loss of email. The solution offloaded CPU from Client Access Servers, allowed servers to be taken offline for maintenance without affecting users, and supported the 200-user, multi-site Exchange rollout with improved availability and performance.
