Vertbaudet, Europe’s leading online retailer of children’s products, wanted to improve customer loyalty—especially among mothers-to-be—and increase sign-ups to its loyalty club. Although the brand has 70 stores, 80% of revenue comes from online traffic (100M visits/year), so retaining online customers and clearly communicating club benefits was a key challenge.

Vertbaudet personalized product pages with dynamic messages under the price that showed each visitor’s club status or the number of additional items needed to unlock the club price (e.g., “Add 2 more items to the cart to pay the club price!”). The targeted messaging drove a 24% increase in loyalty club membership and a 15.6% increase in cart checkouts.
