Renault wanted to boost online quotation requests and the number of in-person service appointments on Renault.fr by simplifying and optimizing its multi-step sales funnel for automotive repairs. An A/B test was launched because small details in the funnel appeared to be harming conversion rates and the goal was to increase both quotations and appointment uptake.
Using Kameleoon’s advanced editor (custom JavaScript/CSS) and reporting, the team revised all four funnel stages and ran a two-variant test over 30 days with ~200,000 visitors (implemented in 5 days). The changes produced a 10% increase in quotations requested and, after optimizing the page that displays the quote, a 63% lift in appointments made.
